Building Strength from Within

The Willow Project, Inc. is based on the notion that the strongest among us are not the most rigid, but the most resilient – and that resiliency comes from having strong roots and an ability to face adversity without breaking down.

Our initial community outreach project is designed to help children, adolescents and young adults develop inner strength. Volunteer life coaches will provide one-on-one support in the areas of:

  • relationship-building

  • psycho-education

  • positive self talk

  • values

  • cooperation

  • standing up to peer pressure

  • bullying

  • self-reflection and control

  • positive peer groups

  • learning to set and achieve goals

  • leadership

  • loyalty and commitment

  • giving back to your community

In addition, program participants will enjoy group social events to interact and build community networks with other children and families facing similar life struggles.
