Carolina's Creative Counseling, PA provides individual, family and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Believing that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change, we employ a strength-based, cognitive behavioral and trauma focused approach to therapy.
We believe in the uniqueness of each client and the importance of individualized treatment. We work together with the client to ensure that the experience in our program is meaningful and healing.
All of our therapists are Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW or LCSWA) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHC or LCMHC-A). Therapy may be provided at different areas including our Charlotte office, Matthews office, and home or other community settings according to the individual needs. In addition, Carolina's Creative Counseling, PA is one of the contracted providers with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System's "School Based Mental Health Program". If your child attends one of the schools listed below and is in need of mental health counseling, please contact your child's school counselor for additional information about this program. Referrals for this specific service have to be sent to us directly from the school's counselor.

Reba Brown, LCAS
Substance Abuse Supervisor
Reba is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate and Qualified Professional. She has a Master of Social Work from Howard University. She works with children, adolescent, adults, and families. Reba has worked with Carolina's Creative Counseling for over the past 7 years and is involved in several roles with the agency; SA Outpatient Therapeutic Clinician (OPT) that specifically works with clients struggling through substance abuse addiction, who have been evaluated and recommended for therapeutic services to address symptoms and behaviors that are negatively impacting their lives. With her specialization in addiction, Reba also maintains the role as the agency's Substance Abuse Supervisor, overseeing both the Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP), and the Substance Abuse Clinical Outpatient Treatment (SACOT).
*SACOT program is coming soon as the agency is finishing up the required documentation with DHHS in adding this state licensed program to our existing SAIOP license*
Reba work's intensely with the clinicians and the clients in addressing the significant risk factors they have exposed themselves to on a daily basis and the impact their addiction has had in their lives. Reba is extremely committed to helping individuals overcome addiction, and demonstrates the dedication and passion it will take in being "a part of the solution to what has become an overwhelming national epidemic". In addition to her role's with OPT, SAIOP, and SACOT Reba also provides additional support within the Intensive In-Home Services Program (IIH). She draws from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each of her clients. In her spare time, she likes to spend her weekends with family and friends. Alicia Chambers, LCSW
Alicia has a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UNC Greensboro. Alicia has worked as an Outpatient Clinician (OPT) with Carolina's Creative Counseling for the past 3 years and additionally is one of the "Charlotte Mecklenburg Mental Health School Based" clinicians who provides therapy in several assigned elementary and high schools. She enjoys working with children, adolescents and families utilizing therapeutic techniques from evidence based models such as; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, as well as, age appropriate models that provide creativity in her work with younger children (age 4 and under) in a structured "Play Therapy" specific session. Alicia believes that "a strengths based approach style helps create a more positive perspective throughout the therapy session". In her spare time, Alicia enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Whitney Coble, LCMHC, TF-CBT
Whitney Coble is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. Whitney has worked as an Outpatient Clinician (OPT) with Carolina's Creative Counseling for the past 5 years and is currently working on several specializations to better assist her clients and their families. Whitney works in all settings to meet the needs of her clients and their families, and is one of the "Charlotte Mecklenburg Mental Health School Based" clinicians who provides therapy in several assigned elementary and high schools. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families and has a specific interest in working with clients whose lives have become "overwhelmingly impacted due to a traumatic event left unresolved". Whitney is also a Nationally Certified TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) through the North Carolina Collaborative. In addition to her TF-CBT training, Whitney is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, specializing in specific trauma clinical work that provides more detailed, specific types of therapeutic interventions as it relates to individualized types of trauma. She is dedicated to helping families cope with mental illness and find sources of support for themselves. In her free time, Whitney enjoys shopping, and having social time for friends and family.

Jessica Dixon, LCSW-A
Jessica Dixon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston and her Masters Degree from Winthrop University. Jessica’s clinical experience is focused around children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is an Outpatient Therapy clinician that provides therapeutic services in the community, and one of the "Charlotte Mecklenburg Mental Health School Based" clinicians who provides therapy in several assigned elementary and high schools. In addition to her outpatient clinical client caseload and school based client's, Jessica is a Clinical Team Lead within the Intensive-In-Home (IIH) program which provides a higher level of therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Her clinical approach is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Approach techniques. In her free time Jessica enjoys reading, painting, and going for walks.
Autumn Hill, LCSW
Autumn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience in the mental health field. Autumn has worked in both clinical outpatient and community based settings with children, adolescents, and adults. She has provided in-home therapeutic services to at-risk youth and their families. Autumn's specialized clinical experience includes; mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, self-harm behaviors, substance abuse, and personality disorders. In addition to her clinical role with Carolina's Creative Counseling, Autumn has developed a strong work history with some of Charlotte's leading community agency's such as; Monarch, Charlotte Counseling Group, Youth Villages and is currently one of Novant's outpatient therapist's. Autumn believes that "emotional, physical, social, and spiritual health are all important aspects in life". Autumn utilizes therapeutic techniques from evidence based models such as; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to better assist her clients with "feeling better and living a more balanced life."

Gerald Hilliard, QP
Gerald is a Qualified Professional who has been working in the field of mental health for over eighteen years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Livingstone College and has worked as a Qualified Professional (QP) with Carolina's Creative Counseling for the past 10 years. He provides intensive support to children and families within the Intensive In-Home Services Program (IIH). He believes "sport and physical education is fundamental to the early development of children". Skills learned during play and sport contribute to the holistic development of young people. He believes his volunteer work and coaching experience with children of all ages brings communities together and creates better societies. Gerald loves spending time his wife and their three sons. He is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to his sons’ games, never missing a single game.
Janiece Jenkins, LCSW, TF-CBT
Janiece Jenkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina and a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-CP) in the state of South Carolina (SC agency location coming soon). Janiece has a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families and focuses on assisting others with managing and overcoming challenges associated with various aspects in their lives. She graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in print journalism. Shortly after completing her undergraduate program, Janiece received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she also obtained a graduate certificate in play therapy. Janiece is a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Nationally Certified in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Janiece gained experience working with individuals from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, as well as in day treatment programs, outpatient facilities, private practices, and within the public-school system. In her free time, Janiece enjoys horseback riding, crocheting, reading and spending time with her loved ones.
Crystal Richard, LCMHC-A, TF-CBT
Crystal is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and earned her Master of Science Degree specializing in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Crystal has been working with the agency for almost 2 years as an Outpatient Therapy clinician, providing therapeutic services in the community, and one of the "Charlotte Mecklenburg Mental Health School Based" clinicians who provides therapy in several assigned elementary and high schools. She believes in a Person Centered styled therapeutic orientation, and also includes Cognitive Behavioral and Art Therapy techniques. Crystal's focus and experience is in working with children, adults, and families in crisis. When Crystal is not counseling, she enjoys photography, reading, writing, and world travel.

Tiffany Thompson, LCMHC, TF-CBT
Tiffany is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University and recently obtained her Nationally Certification in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Her clinical experience includes working with children and adolescents with various emotional and behavioral challenges including depression, anxiety, anger management, and self-esteem improvement. Tiffany utilizes a person-centered approach to help individuals emphasize and build upon their strengths. She believes in working not only with the individual client, but with their entire system including the family, school, and community to create a positive impact in their lives. When she isn’t working, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling.
Aditi Patel, LPC-A
Aditi graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She has been working with Carolina's Creative Counseling for the past 2 years. She provide's outpatient and school based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. During her free time she enjoy's cooking, reading, traveling, and being with her family.
